Infineon IRMCK099 hair dryer solution
Program Overview
This plan design uses IRMCK099 single-chip microcomputer of Infineon Company as the main control chip, and IPM as the power module. This design controls the hair dryer motor and has the characteristics of high efficiency and low noise.
IRMCK099 contains a flexible Tiny Motion Control Engine (TinyMCE), without any programming, powerful start-up and configuration tools can make the motor run quickly. Internal clock 100MHz, built-in ITRIP comparator, standby low-power mode, 3.3V single power supply, operating current <30mA, can achieve low-cost / high-performance motor control solutions.
Infineon's IPM series has an internal NTC, which can quickly sense the temperature of the module and avoid damage to the op amp. It has a rail-to-rail function to ensure that the positive and negative directions of the current collection have the same width.
• Control method: FOC control
• Start mode: no sensor
• Modulation method: SVPWM
• Current sampling method: single resistance sampling
• Working voltage: 110V AC
• Output power: 100W
• Modulation frequency: 18KHz
• Motor speed: 18000RPM @ 3 pairs of poles
• Protection function: over current, under voltage, over voltage, over temperature protection, etc.
• Sensorless control saves sensor cost and is more durable
• High speed, low noise, high efficiency, short development cycle (algorithm has been solidified)
• Industrial grade chips, multiple speed adjustment methods, can adapt to various requirements
• UART communication
• Analog input VSP (0 ~ 1.2V)
• Pulse + direction (frequency up to 1000HZ)
• PWM duty cycle
• Hair dryer, fan, etc.
Infineon's IRMCK099 is a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) sensorless field-oriented control (FOC) variable speed motor control integrated circuit (IC).
