This solution is applied to a range hood. It can quickly detect changes in the amount of oil fume, control the fan gear in real time through an algorithm, without manual switching, automatically adjust the speed of the fan (motor) according to the actual air quality. Using FOC control mode, mute and efficient.
System Block Diagram
This demo board consists of 3 parts, namely:
• Air quality sensor: Continuously collect air quality information in the ambient air and indicate the current smoke concentration in TVOC equivalent.
• Main control & motor control: analyze and process the collected TVOC value, and then linearly control the speed value of the FOC special control chip to control the start and speed adjustment of the fan.
• Fan: According to the drive work of the FOC special control chip, the suction power of the range hood is controlled by adjusting the speed of the speed.
The linkage control of the entire system achieves the purpose of controlling the suction power in proportion to the value of the oil smoke.

Program features
• The IAQ-core air quality sensor automatically collects air quality data, without the need for the master to send work commands, and can read the data when necessary.
• It can analyze 125-600ppm TVOC equivalent and 450-2000ppm CO2 equivalent.
