Program Overview
This reference design uses infineon's ICL5101 as the control chip, the cost-effective CoolMOS CE series MOS tube for power conversion, integrates 3 dimming methods (0 ~ 10V / PWM / resistance) dimming interface circuit; using LCC topology, It is easy to realize a wide output voltage and current range, isolated output, high efficiency, small ripple current, and perfect protection function.
The control chip ICL5101 encapsulates the half-bridge controller and the PFC level, and the higher integration level can reduce the number of external components; in lighting applications, this integration level is created for the realization of small-sized compact designs such as LED drivers for power supply Conditions; all operating parameters of the IC can be adjusted by simple resistors, ideal for achieving reliable configuration design. CoolMOS CE series MOSFETs are infineon's high-voltage super junction MOSFETs optimized for consumer electronics. They cover voltages ranging from 500V to 800V. They are cost-effective and are particularly suitable for applications such as adapters, LCDs, LED TVs, LED lighting, and power tools.
